The Young Georgians, led by Oliver Gerrish, runs a varied programme of events and activities for those aged thirty and under. Alongside parties and other social events, there are regular trips to country houses, allowing privileged access to private homes not normally open to the public. See coverage in The Sunday Times. Events have included visits to Kent (Penshurst Place and Squerryes Court), Norfolk (Ditchingham and Raveningham), Buckinghamshire (Chicheley and Stoke Bruerne), Dorset (Bellamont and Poundbury) and Derbyshire (Catton, Carnfield, Radburne and Renishaw).
Join The Young Georgians to be kept abreast of forthcoming activities. To get a taster of events and see the sort of things membership offers, visit Oliver Gerrish's blog and follow The Young Georgians on Twitter (@younggeorgians) or Facebook.
Now 270-strong, the Young Georgians offers a relaxed and entertaining way to enjoy great architecture and make new friends. To join, please download and return a completed membership form (see right). The annual subscription is £25. Everyone aged thirty and under is welcome.
