Poltimore House, Devon

The principal seat of the Bampfylde family from the thirteenth century until 1921, Poltimore has been derelict since 1975 but is now being restored by a dedicated building preservation trust.

Grant offered: £1,000 towards the restoration of the 1760s Rococo saloon, including the remarkable stuccowork.

Grenoside Reading Rooms, Sheffield, Yorkshire

1820 schoolroom now used for community activities. 

Grant offered: £1,000 towards interior restoration, including the chimneypieces and floorboards.

St. Mary’s Church, Newchurch-in-Pendle, near Burnley, Lancashire
