The Library (the Doric Temple and Temple of Diana), The Cedars School, Leighton Linslade, Bedfordshire

Grade II*, early eighteenth century, formerly the music room of Prebendal House and currently the exhibition room/library at the Cedars School (Leighton Middle School), Leighton Buzzard. The Temple of Diana was built for the Leigh family c.1720 and has been attributed to James Gibbs.

Grant offered: £1000 to remedy structural defects attributable to the additional weight of reinforced concrete roof structures added in the 1920s. The decorative plasterwork ceiling and cornices had been damaged by structural movement and by rainwater.

Church of the Holy Rood, Ossington, Nottinghamshire

Grade I estate church of 1782-83 by John Carr, probably for Robert Denison, with minor nineteenth century alterations and additions, including stained glass and a
barrel organ built by Thomas Robson in 1840.

Grant offered: £500 towards restoration of the barrel organ, including re-covering the bellows with new leather; cleaning the casework; cleaning and repairing pipework; and checking and repairing where necessary all mechanical parts.
