This is country house building in the grand manner, and how encouraging
it is that in the first years of the twenty-first century we are seeing
the destructive tendencies of the twentieth subverted so
comprehensively. Tusmore stands on the site of Georgian house by Robert
Mylne, demolished in the 1950s, and is a more than worthy successor.
